Services

Private, Early Intervention, CPSE, CSE

Private

We offer private-pay therapy and evaluations for children from birth to 12th grade. Services can be provided in the home or at our state-of-the art clinic.

Evaluations cover a wide-range of developmental areas including:

  • Speech & Language

  • Feeding

  • Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)

  • Assistive Technology (AT)

  • Occupational

  • Physical

  • Autism

  • Psychological

  • Educational

​

Therapy is available via two unique modalities:

  • 1:1 or group sessions with licensed therapists

  • 1:1 or group sessions with graduate clinicians

 

At this time, Somos Bilingues does not accept insurance payments, but we are considered out-of-network providers. Out-of-network means that we do not accept insurance. You may call your insurance company to find out if you are eligible for out-of-network therapy and/or evaluation reimbursement.

We provide you with a monthly receipt of paid therapy services and you submit it to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We do not coordinate with insurance companies nor do we guarantee insurance payments. ​

​

Direct payment is required on a weekly, monthly, or one-time basis (depending on service model)

Early Intervention
(Birth to 3)

We are an approved NYS Early Intervention Program (EIP) agency in the Hudson Valley and NYC. The EIP is funded by the Department of Health and is of no cost to families of children found eligible for services.

 

We provide speech therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and special instruction for infants and toddlers.

We are currently serving the following counties:

Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, and NYC (5 Boroughs)

CPSE
(3 to 5 years)

Committee on Preschool Special Education 

 

We are a  Department of Health approved provider for Related Services in the Hudson Valley. The program is funded by the Department of Health and is of no cost to families for students found eligible for services. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy for preschool-aged children. If you are interested in having Somos Bilingues provide your child's IEP related services, please contact your school district's CPSE chairperson.

We are also a New York State Education Department approved 4410 Preschool Multidisciplinary Evaluation (MDE) program that serves the Hudson Valley region. The MDE program is funded by the NYSED for preschool students (ages 3-5) and is of no cost to families of students with a suspected delay/disability. Parents may select Somos Bilingues as their preferred evaluation site from the approved preschool programs list. 

 

CPSE evaluations are available in the following areas:

Speech and Language, Feeding, Occupational, Physical, Psychological, Educational, Social History, and Observation.

We are currently serving the following counties:

We do not offer CPSE services in NYC (5 Boroughs)

CSE
(K to 12th)

Committee on Special Education

​

We contract with school districts across New York to provide a variety of student support services- therapy, evaluations, consultations, and training.

 

We are currently accepting contracts for the new academic year. 

 

If your school district does not have a contract with us, you may still request for Somos Bilingues to conduct your child's evaluations. Inform your CSE chairperson and we will provide the necessary paperwork to contract with the district.

​

Independent Educational Evaluation (IEEs) are available.

 

We do not offer CSE services in NYC (5 Boroughs)
